A Rare Glider Proficiency Badge for Ethnic Germans in Hungary consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a Heavy Anti-Aircraft Artillery GunConstructed of silvered tombak with enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a central sword, in turn defaced by a sunwheel style mobile swastika and white enameled gull, the reverse with two visible clips securing the gull in position, with a vertical pinback, measuring 34. 86 mm (w) x 40. 86 mm (h), weighing 10. 6 grams, demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels, a scarce example in extremely fine condition.
