A finely toned eight pointed star in silver, each arm composed of a cluster of five individual faceted rays of extending lengths, obverse presenting an enamelled white Maltese Cross in silver gilt, with multiple individual rays in each quadrant creating an illusion of a square, obverse centre featuring a detailed silver gilt portrait of St. Sylvester on an enamelled blue background, surrounded by a gilt
