Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Observer’s Badge Auction Archive with a textured faux black(Beobachterabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie style ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a central enameled medallion consisting of a black and white checkered centrepiece situated within a red border, the reverse affixed with a ribbed oval backplate, topped by a crimped hinge and vertical pinback
