Van Rooy, Anton - Signed Cabinet Photo in Die Meistersinger Programs Music Unsigned Pianists she gave in October 5thFamous Dutch bass baritone (1870 1932), well known for his interpretations of Wagner roles and his very powerful voice. Beautiful signed cabinet photo by W. Hoffert, showing him as Hans Sachs in Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg in Bayreuth Festival, one of his best roles. Blind stamped with the year 1899. Van Rooy also wrote a short line from the opera, and the date in 1901. Size is 4. 25 x 6. 5 inches, in excellent condition.
