An ovular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse centre bearing a cut out right facing Panzer IV tank on grassy ground, with its left tread extending beyond the border, the centre is encompassed by an oak leaf wreath with a national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a swastika in its claws at the top, the reverse is solid and plain and bears a vertical magnetic pinback with a rounded c hook catch, both
