Constructed of nickel plated brass, the obverse bearing a central German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a catch and claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Linden, Ldenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating
