Moorcroft The Singing Birds of Glasgow Vase Mouse Introduced 1998Designed by Nicola Slaney Numbered Edition Size Height 51 cm This elegant bird and roses design was inspired by the work of Talwin Morris, Art Director at Glasgow based publishers, Blackie and Son. Talwins book cover designs were heavily influenced by the Glasgow style and were featured in the aesthetic magazine The Studio. The designs were created by stamping designs, either in colour or gold foil, directly onto cloth, which was then bound onto the
