Ukraine. An Armed Forces Combatant’s Cross United Republic of personal fighting spirit(Khrest boyovoho diyacha ZSU ). Instituted in 1940. Three piece construction, in bronze gilt with azure blue and black enamels, obverse illustrating a Crutch Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the four arms in black, with a central raised disk in blue bearing a raised Tryzub, reverse inscribed in Ukrainian "C Y B" (SUV) on the arm at 12 o'clock and number impressed "02198" on the arm at 6 o'clock, measuring 39 mm (w) x 39 mm (h),
