Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Alberta with mobilization headquarters in Calgary under the authority of G. O. 151, December 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 2, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. W. Nasmyth with a strength of 33 officers and 969
