An 1870 Iron Cross, Ii Class With Jubilee Spange Newly Listed and Gebirgsjäger(Eisernes Kreuz 1870 II Klasse) A cross patte of multi piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; vaulted, the obverse centre bears a cipher W for Wilhelm, the 12 oclock arm bears a crown and the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1870, the reverse centre bears a sprig of oak leaves, the 12 oclock arm bears a crowned FW cipher, the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1813, the 12 oclock arm has period repair, measuring 41. 49 mm
