Constructed of olive drab painted metal (magnetic); the obverse with a central raised field depicting a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed Gott Mit Uns (German God with Us) and a partial oak wreath; the reverse with a standard soldered catch and double prong swivel bar; attached to a thick brown leather tab dated 1941 and maker marked E. Schneider, Ldenscheid on the reverse;
