An Italian Independence Medal; 1848-49 Austrian War & 1859 Crimean War Buy Now with two visible rivets holding1848, 1849, 1859. Silver, without engraver mark, 33 mm, scattered pitting and surface wear, 1859 clasp broken on one end and can slide off ribbon, better than very fine. Footnote: The 1848 and 1849 clasps were issued for the War with Austria, the 1859 clasp was issued for the Crimean War.
